Seal Trips at Blakeney Point

Take a boat trip and observe both common and grey seals in their natural environment at Blakeney Point. The trips depart from the picturesque Blakeney harbour or Morston quay. Not only do you experience the seals up close and personal, there are plenty of birds to be seen too you, so don't forget your camera or binoculars! Some trips enable you to step ashore, combining seal-watching with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust. The seal trips are suitable for all ages, and are a very popular and safe way to enjoy wildlife up close without disturbing it.

Holkham Hall Stately Home and Deer Park

Holkham Hall is one of Britain's most majestic stately homes. The Hall is part of the Holkham Estate which also includes a Deer Park, Holkham Beach and an acclaimed hotel and a pub. The park has hosted several open-air concerts - past performers include Jose Carreras, Jools Holland, Girls Aloud and Elton John. No trip to Holkham is complete without a visit to the Victoria Hotel, located on the coast road, near the north gate entrance to Holkham Hall. The food includes wild game and beef from the Estate, seafood caught on the coast, and local real ales.

Titchwell Marsh RSPB Reserve

One of Britain's premier birdwatching sites. This popular reserve on the north Norfolk coast has something for everyone. A walk from the visitor centre down to the sandy beach takes you past reedbeds and shallow lagoons, which are often full of birds. The viewing platform on the edge of the dunes, and hides overlooking freshwater reedbeds and marshes, are excellent spots from which to watch a stunning array of birds. There are three trails on the reserve and all are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. Refreshments are available, along with a well-stocked gift shop.
